<p>Participants at the Central Plains Irrigation Conference and Exposition will learn the latest information on irrigation equipment and water management practices Feb. 23-24 at the Kearney Holiday Inn.</p>
<p> The two-day event sponsored by the Central Plains Irrigation Association (CPIA) in partnership with the Nebraska Corn Board and Nebraska corn Growers Association will offer insight into water management and managing irrigation systems and equipment. CPIA includes the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kansas State University, and Colorado State University.</p>
<p> Irrigators, irrigation managers, crop consultants, agribusiness personnel, personnel from resource agencies and state and federal agency personnel involved in water management will benefit from the conference.</p>
<p> The conference also will feature a trade show.</p>
<p> There will be a lunch time general session each day in addition to eight technical session.</p>
<p> Speakers for the sessions include experts from Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the irrigation industry.</p>
<p> Registration before Febr. 9 is $65; $75 if applying for CCA CEUs. After Febr. 9, fees are $80; $90 if applying for CCA CEUs. For Nebraska Corn Growers: The NebraskaRegistration includes admission to all sessions, equipment exposition, copy of the proceedings, breaks, two lunches and social hour. The Nebraska Corn Board and Nebraska Corn Growers Association are offering a scholarship to attend free of charge to the first 100 Nebraska growers who register for the conference.<br />
