The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Viticulture Program workshop, featuring Richard Smart, will be held June 20 at Soaring Wings Vineyard in Springfield, Nebraska.
Richard Smart, an Australian viticulturalist and leading global consultant on viticulture methods, is considered responsible for revolutionizing grape growing due to his work on canopy management techniques. He is often referred to as “the flying vine doctor.” He will talk about canopy management for better yields and quality, trunk disease and Accentuated Cut Edges. He will lead hands-on demonstrations and examinations of trunk disease and canopy management after the lunch break.
Cost for the workshop & lunch: $35 for first person from an enterprise and $25 per additional person from the same enterprise or family.
Registration is required by Tuesday, June 18.
