A Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) & BQA Transportation Certification training will be held on Tuesday, August 6, at St John the Baptist Parish Hall in Fordyce. The BQA training will be from 4:00-6:00 pm for all producers needing certification or re-certification to ensure a wholesome and safe beef product for consumers through quality cattle care and handling, cost is $20. The BQA Transportation Certification will be from 6:30-8:30 pm for all transportation drivers hauling into major harvesting facilities, and is offered free of charge.
