This is the annual soils school conducted together with the Nebraska Agri-Business Association. It will be at the Quality Inn and Suites, Grand Island on February 5-6, 2020
Topics addressed are: fertilizer recommendation philosophies; soil/foliar sampling; management to increase soil organic matter; residue removal and n2o emission; nitrogen including in-season application; phosphorus including updated recommendations for corn; K, Ca, Mg, S, and micronutrients; soil formation and spatial variability; manure nutrient management; soil ph, other soil chemistry and amendments;
soil physical properties and water; and soil microbiology.
