Nebraska Statewide Arboretum to Host a Wildflower Week Plant Talk and Sunset Wildflower Hike on June 7 at Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area
In celebration of Nebraska Wildflower Week, June 1-9, the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will host a plant talk and guided sunset wildflower hike on Friday, June 7, at Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area in Gering.

In celebration of Nebraska Wildflower Week, June 1-9, the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum will host a plant talk and guided sunset wildflower hike on Friday, June 7, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area in Gering.
Meet at the Nature Center for the Plant Talk with Steve Rolfsmeier, director of the High Plains Herbarium at Chadron State College. Sunset hike (approximately 45 minutes) will follow the Plant Talk. Snacks and water provided; please wear comfortable shoes. This event is free and open to the public, but a park permit is required for entry into Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area (can be purchased at the entrance).
