DESCRIPTION:The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Agricultural 
 Profitability and Nebraska Extension will present a workshop in Blair for 
 farm and ranch landowners\, landlords and tenants who want to learn more a
 bout current trends in farm or ranch real estate\, and best practices for 
 managing or leasing land.\n\n“Big Questions and Innovative Solutions in 
 Land Management” will be held from 1 to 4 p.m.\, Jan. 9\, at the office 
 of Nebraska Extension in Washington County\, 597 Grant St.\, Suite 200.\n\
 nThe workshop will cover topics related to Nebraska's land industry for fa
 rms and ranches. Those include evaluating current trends in land values an
 d cash rents\, lease provisions and legal considerations\, proper communic
 ation strategies and considerations for successful land transitions. Works
 hop participants will also be able to find answers to common farmland leas
 ing and land ownership questions. \n\nRefreshments will be provided by Far
 mers National Company.\n\nThe program is free to attend. Registration is r
 equired by Jan. 8\, by calling Nebraska Extension in Washington County at
