The UNL Economics Department kicks off its fall seminar season with the seminar, “What Does Intercollegiate Athletics Do to (or for) Colleges and Universities?” Presented by John Siegfried, secretary-treasurer of the American Economic Association and emeritus professor of economics, Vanderbilt University. The event takes place at Wick Alumni Center, 1520 R St., Friday, Sept. 30, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
