The UNL Department of Art and Art History presents Laguna Pueblo potter Josie Seymour.
Seymour is featured in the documentary film “Grab,” directed by Billy Luther.
“Grab” is an official selection for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
“Grab” will be screened Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 PM as part of the Visionmaker Film Festival. The screening will take place at the Sheldon Museum of Art on UNL’s City Campus.
Josie will be demonstrating traditional hand-building and painting techniques in room 118 Richards Hall on Tuesday, Oct 4th from 9:00 – 11:30 AM and 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
Josie Seymour’s visit to UNL is sponsored by the Hixson-Lied Endowment, MEDICI Art Group, and Native American Public Telecommunications. The Demonstrations in Richards Hall are free and open to the public.
