The School of Art, Art History & Design is pleased to present the 2017 Faculty Exhibition, January 18 - February 3 (closing reception February 3). For the first time, the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery will display faculty research from all three areas of the School. This exhibition acquaints the University and public with the research being produced by our esteemed faculty. The diversity of research tantalizes with an exciting display of concepts and techniques. From antiquity to the times in which we live, our artists, historians, and designers discover, imagine, and take us to the possibilities.
In addition to the Faculty Exhibition, the School of Art, Art History & Design proudly announces the Curator, Critic, Collector Panel Discussion Series to be held in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery. The distinguished curator, critic, and collector will select the work of three faculty from the exhibition, for a one-hour informal conversation, beginning at 2 pm. There is no telling what will be discussed, but one thing is certain, these discussions are sure to leave us thinking. Leading the discussion will be Wally Mason (Director and Chief Curator, Sheldon Museum of Art) on January 23, Kent Wolgamott (Lincoln Journal Star) on January 26, and art collectors Kathy and Marc LeBaron on February 1.
The Faculty Exhibition and Curator, Critic, Collector Panel Discussion Series are free and open to the public.
