The 8th annual Viola Bash will take place on Oct. 17, 2020 between 10:00 am and noon via Zoom! That’s right: this year, the Viola Bash is coming right to your living room! The event will feature recorded performances from NEBratsche (the UNL student viola ensemble) and individual university students. But mostly the focus will be on the viola players of our community and beyond. The event will include instruction on a wide range of range of topics and a master class with Glenn Korff School of Music viola professor Clark Potter for a few students who are interested in getting some feedback on a solo piece. Designed for violists of all ages, the only thing missing from this year’s Bash will be the donuts, which I’m sure will be a loss to those students who have been coming for years. We hope we can make that up to you in 2021!
