The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Big Band will take to the Kimball Recital Hall stage at 7:30 p.m. on November 18 for “Things Ain’t What They Used To Be, Swingin’ with the Big Band’.
The ensemble will perform 10 different pieces including Sophisticated Lady by Duke Ellington; Jumpin’ At The Woodside by Count Basie, A String of Pearls by Jerry Gray and, of course, Things Ain’t What They Used To Be by Mercer Ellington.
No in-person audience.
