Glenn Korff School of Music faculty members Karen Becker (cello) and Mark Clinton (piano) are eager to share Beethoven’s brilliant sonatas for cello and piano! The performance, Sep. 8 at 7:30PM in Kimball Recital Hall, will include Becker and Clinton’s interpretation of the earliest sonata, the F Major, Op. 5, in contrast with Beethoven’s last two sonatas, the Op. 102’s. The second installment of this exciting Beethoven Cycle will include Becker and Clinton performing the other two sonatas and a set of variations in the fall of 2023.
