The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cellobration is free and open to cellists of all ages. Cellobration is hosted by Dr. Karen Becker, professor of cello in the Glenn Korff School of Music.

This year’s event will feature guest cellist Zlatomir Fung, the first American in four decades and youngest musician ever to win First Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition Cello Division.

This exciting one-day event will take place in person at Kimball Recital Hall on the University of Nebraska Campus. Activities will also include cello warm-ups, Cellobration Cello Choir for all participants, and a final performance to include the UNL Cello Choir, guest artist and faculty performances, and the Cellobration Cello Choir!
