All string players are invited to participate in this exciting new event—the University of Nebraska-Lincoln String Fling!
The Glenn Korff School of Music will host string teachers with private studios, orchestra directors, string students, Bach-lovers, and string enthusiasts in an afternoon of music-making!
Activities include an all-Bach Masterclass with Zachary Carrettin (see Registration form for masterclass audition information), exciting breakout sessions with distinguished UNL String Faculty: Karen Becker (cello), David Neely (violin), Clark Potter (viola), and Hans Sturm (double bass), and an exciting and informative rehearsal with all participants of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, led by Maestro Carrettin!
The grand finale for the day is at 6PM — a violin and piano Duo Recital with Zachary Carrettin and Mina Gajic.
