 duates for volunteer service globally\, potentially with the Peace Corps\,
  by building the following four core competencies\:\n1) Sector-specific sk
 ills (in Education\, Health\, Environment\, Agriculture\, Youth in Develop
 ment\, or Community Economic Development)\n2) Foreign language proficiency
 \n3) Intercultural competence\n4) Professional savvy and leadership\n\nUpo
 n completion of the program\, you will receive a certificate from the Peac
 e Corps\, a federal agency. Completing the PC Prep program gives you a com
 petitive edge when applying for Peace Corps service\, but does not guarant
 ee acceptance as a Peace Corps Volunteer.\n\nSpecial features of the PC Pr
 ep program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln include\:\n*Eligibility f
 or competitive scholarship to study or intern abroad in a country where Pe
 ace Corps volunteers have served.\n*Tailored education abroad advising and
  Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) assessment upon acceptance and
