The Office of Graduate Studies is fully committed to the health and well-being of all University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and staff members. In a disease situation like COVID-19, the principle of social distancing is one of the main methods that can be used to help reduce the spread of the disease. Chancellor Ronnie Green has issued guidance that all UNL classes will move to ‘remote’ modes. To be consistent with that guidance, the Office of Graduate Studies will not provide in-person programs, including workshops for the remainder of the semester. We are going to continue to provide professional development opportunities for our graduate community electronically, and I would encourage you to watch for updates and additional resources in the Graduate Report. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Lisa Rohde or Erin Omar.
Writing a diversity statement for an academic job requires you to meaningfully reflect on how you integrate diversity and inclusivity into your work. In this workshop, you will draft your diversity statement and receive feedback as you work through creating it.
This workshop will count toward CIRTL Associate Status.
