Ellen Paparrozi, University of Nebraska–Lincoln plantologist and professor of horticulture, presents “Controlled Environment and Urban Agriculture: Horticulture for the 21st Century.” One facet of horticulture that is rapidly expanding is growing food and specialty crops indoors and on small farms. This seminar will focus on research at Nebraska and other universities addressing the “growing” need for horticultural products (such as strawberries and Cannabis) as well as highlight directions for the future.
