The 2022 New Venture Competition, April 5 and 7, is a celebration of entrepreneurial learning and competition. Hosted by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Center for Entrepreneurship, this competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, including those enrolled in the online MBA program. Team composition may vary so long as the lead presenter is currently enrolled at Nebraska or has graduated in the semester prior to the competition. To be eligible for the grand prize of $25,000, the winning team must feature a student with 51% ownership of the venture and also be a registered entity with the State of Nebraska.

This two-day business plan competition is organized in a tournament format. Day one features two rounds of presentations and day two culminates with a final round of four presentations. Participants will pitch their business plans to judges from the Nebraska Business community and field questions from these judges after their presentations.

Apply to compete by Wednesday, March 30, at 11:59 p.m. Not all who apply will be invited to compete.

All are welcome to watch the final four present on Thursday, April 7 starting at 1 p.m. in the Sheldon Auditorium.
