DESCRIPTION:On February 19\, Nirupam Aich will be the speaker.\n\nThe Nebra
 ska Water Center (NWC)\, in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Li
 ncoln’s School of Natural Resources\, will begin its annual Spring Water
  Seminar Series in January. The 2025 series will consider innovations driv
 ing safe and secure water in Nebraska and beyond. The Series is open to th
 e public and will be held at Hardin Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lin
 coln East Campus.\n\nIn addition\, the series – with writing assignments
  and in-class\, student-led discussions on alternate weeks – doubles as 
 a one-credit hour undergraduate/graduate course listed under NRES/AGRO/GEO
 G/GEOL 484/884 and WATS 484. Students interested in registering should be 
 junior level or above. \n\nEstablished in 1968\, the series provides a for
 um to increase awareness and allow for meaningful conversation regarding t
 hese issues. The series is a cornerstone of NWC’s mission to help the Un
 iversity of Nebraska become an international leader in water research\, te
 aching\, extension\, and outreach. \n\nThe 2025 seminars dates are January
  29\, February 5\, February 19\, March 12\, April 2\, April 16\, and April
  23.
