An evening social event celebrating the contributions of women in a variety of fields and roles within the UNL campus and Lincoln community.
Chancellor Ronnie Green will present the annual awards for ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Status of Women’ to each of the following: a faculty/staff member; a student; and a department or organization.
Additional students, staff, and faculty will be publicly recognized with the annual ‘Women of Courage, Character, and Commitment’ awards. Nominations can be submitted until Feb. 20, 2023: https://womens-center.unl.edu/women-courage-character-and-commitment
Internationally recognized hip-hop dancer and choreographer Amirah Sackett will give a keynote speech and performance during the evening’s festivities.
