The Children’s Justice Attorney Education April 2025 Workshop focuses on Courtroom Advocacy Preparation Using a Trauma-Informed Lens. Sessions include a Juvenile Court Overview, State and Federal Laws pertaining to Juvenile Court, Case Law specific to Juvenile Court, Substance Use, Child Development, Hearing Preparation, Family Team Meeting and Witness Examination Simulations, and Juvenile Court Advocacy from a Judicial Perspective, Reflective Prompts pertaining to Juvenile Court practice, and Trauma in Child Welfare.
