The 77th Midwest Fish & Wildlife Conference is an annual event attracting over 800 biologists and students from state, federal, and tribal natural resources agencies from the Midwest, Great Plains, Rocky Mountains and Canadian provinces. Highlights include: nearly 400 technical presentations, poster displays, plenary sessions, networking opportunities and social events.

The School of Natural Resources and the Nebraska Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit at SNR are hosts for the event, along with Nebraska Game & Parks Commission and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Several faculty and staff from SNR will present during the three-day conference.
