Dr. Mondira Kundu, MD, PhD, Associate Member, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, will present the seminar “ULK/ATG1 function: At the crossroads of autophagy and trafficking.”

Dr. Kundu is a physician-scientist whose research is focused on understanding the cellular response to metabolic stress and the relevance of these pathways to diseases, including neurodegeneration and cancer. She has received awards from several foundations, including the Damon-Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund and was recently elected as a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigations.
