Join us for the opening reception for the newest exhibition “Art and Poetry of the Barada Hills” featuring watercolor paintings by John Frederick Lokke paired with poems by Jan Chism Wright that tell a story about the rolling hills of southeast Nebraska.

Make GPAM your first stop as we close at 7 p.m.! The artists will do a short gallery talk in the lower-level gallery at 6 p.m.

Admission is always free. Parking is usually available at the Que Place parking garage at 11th and Q streets.

The Great Plains Art Museum is open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
