DESCRIPTION:Stress seems to be prevalent in the agriculture sector\, with e
 ven more concerns arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many farmers and r
 anchers are facing financial strains\, marketing uncertainties\, along wit
 h regular challenges such as production risks and farm transfer issues\, a
 nd more. When temporary stress turns into chronic stress\, it can impact h
 ealth and mental wellness.\n\nNebraska Extension\, in partnership with Mic
 higan State Extension’s “Communicating with Farmers Under Stress” cu
 rriculum\, will present an online webinar over the lunch hour\, on Wednesd
 ay\, July 15\, 2020\, 11 a.m. – 12\:30 p.m.\, for individuals who work w
 ith farmers and ranchers on a regular basis\, such as bank lenders\, ag su
 ppliers\, educators and consultants\, healthcare professionals\, and anyon
 e involved with the lives of farmers and ranchers.\n\nThis no fee workshop
  requires pre-registration at\: go.unl.edu/stress2020\n\nWorkshop Objectiv
 es include\:\n\n* Build awareness around potentially stressful conditions 
 affecting some farmers and ranchers.\n\n* Learn stress triggers\, identify
  signs of stress\, and review helpful techniques for responding.\n\n* Lear
 n techniques for identifying\, approaching\, and working with farmers who 
 may not cope with stress effectively.\n\n* Learn where to find additional 
 help.\n\nIn addition to being helpful for working with farmers and rancher
 s\, the workshop educates participants about stress in their own lives and
  how it can affect physical health and relationships with family or cowork
