If you are thinking about what comes next after graduation, we invite you to participate in a series of workshops focused on your job search and the upcoming career fair. In the first workshop, Career Fair Prep: Building Your Network, we will discuss one of the most important- and often overlooked- elements of the job search: networking. Research shows that roughly 80% of jobs are filled through referrals, so learning how to utilize your network is vital when thinking about your next career move. During this session, you will learn how to strategically build a network that includes regional, national, and digital connections. We will discuss the different types of individuals you should include in your professional network and tips for developing those relationships. You’ll also be able to identify what a personal “brand” is and how you can leverage yours to promote your future success.
