The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Center for Agricultural Profitability will present a farm and ranch succession and estate planning workshop from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at McCook Community College, McMillen Hall room 215, 1205 E. 3rd St.
The in-person workshop, presented by Allan Vyhnalek, a Nebraska Extension educator for fam and ranch transition and succession, will illustrate the importance of having succession and transition plans in place, offer background on common mistakes during the process and highlight essential considerations and tools for creating and carrying out the plans.
The workshop is free to attend, but registration is requested by Feb. 21 by calling Nebraska Extension in Red Willow County at 308-345-3390.
