Dr. Dean Castillo is a 4-H Youth Development Educator and entomologist in the Fremont, NE, area (Dodge County). The title of his presentation is “A 4-H Educator’s perspective on female mate choice and speciation.”
Castillo earned his Ph.D. at Indiana University and was an NIH NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University. Prior to joining UNL Extension he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. Currently Castillo is an Extension Affiliate with the UNL Entomology Department.
