We will meet in the Nebraska Union to discuss Canvas and answer questions users have about the transition from Blackboard to Canvas. The presenters were all part of the Canvas Pilot.

Jan 26
Chad Brassil, associate professor, School of Biological Sciences, will give a demo of outcomes and rubrics for ACE assessment at the course level.

Feb 15
Alan Eno, assistant professor of practice, Journalism, will talk about using Canvas Commons to disseminate a master course over multiple sections.

Mar 16
Jeremy van Hof, Ph.D. Assistant Director of Academic Technologies will discuss the process of backing up content from Blackboard.

Apr 5
Scott Anderson, Hixon-Lied Professor of Music, will talk about the integration of audio and video in the online environment.

May 18
Toni Anaya, Associate Professor, University Libraries, will talk about how to incorporate library resources and course reserves into Canvas courses. Resources include self-paced tutorials on using the library and conducting research as well as incorporating streaming video into classes.
