Hosted by the Office of Research and Innovation and presented by research impact coordinator Jocelyn Bosley, this virtual event will share resources and strategies to help faculty from all disciplines enhance the societal impacts of their work. The workshop will discuss: 1) key components of impact plans for proposals to the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and others; 2) diverse examples of successful research impacts by faculty at UNL and elsewhere; and 3) the concept of impact identity and the role of “impact thinking” in research.
