Vaughn Hammond —Extension Technologist at Kimmel Education and Research Center and Executive Chef Nick Maloney from the Lied Lodge will present on cooking with herbs. Learn about harvesting, drying and using fresh herbs in your kitchen. Taste the creations and take some herbs home.
We will be going into the herb garden and harvest the herbs that we will be using in the cooking portion of the program. Harvesting techniques, drying and storing herbs along with some other interesting information will be shared. Chef Nick will use the herbs fresh from the garden and create something special for us to try. Everyone will get to go home with some fresh herbs to try their hand at drying. Please pre-register. Registration Fee $10.00
