The I2E (Inventors, Investors and Entrepreneurs) Club will host its next meeting on October 13, 2009 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Kimmel Education and Research Center in Nebraska City, NE. The meeting will begin with a networking social at 5:30 PM, followed the program at 6:00 PM. The September I2E meeting will be sponsored by Auburn Economic Development and Tri-Valley Bank.
Mr. Robert Hemmingsen is the featured speaker for the evening. Bob was born and raised in Auburn. He is the third generation of his family to be in business in Auburn. Bob earned his Nebraska Funeral Director license in February of 1997 and opened Hemmingsen Funeral Home in April of 1998. Bob will share his story of transitioning from the family clothing business to spotting the opportunity to transition to a whole new career and field while growing the business for the next generation to join the family business.
Fee: $10 per evening or $45 for a year’s membership
