Many grassed trails traverse this woodland and prairie site. This Second Saturday event will celebrate Wildflower Week with a walk through the remnant tallgrass prairie with Wachiska Audubon prairie expert Tim Knott, from 9:30 am-10:45 am. There will be a talk by Carolyn Butler of the Nebraska Wildlife Federation about Pollinator Habitat in the Welcome Center at 11:00 am and children can help plant pollinator plants in Virginia’s Garden.
Coffee and smoothies from Kinetic Brew will be available for purchase in Virginia’s Garden from 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
