The Federalist Society will be welcoming Professor Irina Mantra, Director of the Center for Intellectual Property Law at Hofstra University School of Law, this Wednesday, April 4 at 3:45 p.m. She has been delivering a very popular talk this year called “Why Hulk Hogan’s Sex Life is Your Business”. This will cover Bollea v. Gawker, a case in which the courts wrestled with the concept of “newsworthiness” in the age of internet scandals. The decision ultimately resulted in a $31M settlement in favor of the Hulkster and delivered a leg drop to Gawker that proved to be HH’s deadliest finishing move yet.
