Please join the Equal Justice Society on Friday for a THRIVE training. Every year, UNL law students volunteer with THRIVE to teach Omaha public high school students about the privileges and pitfalls of being an American citizen. Join us!
• Who: Our College of Law partners with THRIVE, an organization serving low-income students and families in the Omaha area.
• What: Leaders of the THRIVE project will train you to teach a 45-minute lesson about voting to high-school students in Omaha.
• When: Friday, October 19 over the lunch hour (noon-1:00 PM).
• Where: Room 125.
• Why: Service matters! (Plus, you can earn credit toward a pro bono certificate by participating.)
We look forward to seeing you on Friday for this fun, low-commitment opportunity to use your legal acumen to serve others!
