Judge Joseph Bataillon is the United District Court Judge for the District of Nebraska and has championed Constitutional rights throughout his illustrious career. Judge Bataillon gained nationwide recognition for his decision in Citizens for Equal Protection v. Bruning, where he struck down an Initiated Measure which banned recognition of same-sex couples. The Judge will join us at the Nebraska auditorium over the lunch hour to discuss his career that has significantly impacted many Nebraskans’ lives. The event will be jointly sponsored by the American Constitution Society chapters at Nebraska Law and Creighton Law.
