This semester we are welcoming back our very own Professor Frans von der Dunk after a year of remotely teaching his courses from abroad. The space, cyber, and telecommunications law program is offering a few opportunities this month for students, in any class, to learn a little more about space law and meet Professor von der Dunk. On January 16 he will give a talk at noon in the auditorium, titled Space Law fro
Beyond his academic career Professor von der Dunk also owns Black Holes B.V., Consultancy in Space Law and Policy. He started his career as co-director at the International Institute of air and space law at Leiden University, where he later became director of space law research. In 2007 he started Black Holes, to accommodate the opportunities he saw emerging in the area of space law. As you may imagine, his breadth of experience includes many interesting stories and experiences.
