Restorative justice programs, such as the one launched in Nebraska in 2015, for youth offenders have the opportunity to reduce recidivism, reintegrate youth into society, and teach youth more constructive ways of dealing with conflict. This presentation discusses current restorative practices in Nebraska and their results.
S.T.I.R. stands for Share, Think, Inspire, Relax and were created in order for students to learn more about what the College’s professors are researching but also a time to enjoy snacks, a drink, and relax. The professor has 15 minutes to present their topic, after which students and faculty are encouraged to discuss the topic.
