Each year, Nebraska Law hosts a competition providing 2L and 3L students a chance to compete through interviewing mock clients with legal challenges. This competition is a fun and engaging way to develop your client counseling skills, obtain real world experience in a simulated setting, and put all your legal education and personal aptitudes to the test!
The 2023 Frank & Lawson Client Counseling Competition will be held at the Law College January 21-22 (the weekend immediately prior to the start of spring semester classes). To learn more about the competition, please join us at 12:00pm on Wednesday, October 26, in Room 109.
In addition to 2L and 3L competitors, we also are looking for volunteers to help us administer the competition. Volunteer “ambassadors” have the opportunity to observe competition interviews and gain exposure to different client interviewing skills and approaches. This is a particularly great opportunity for any 1Ls who are interested in potentially competing in future years!
