The Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA) is excited to be hosting a celebration for Día de Los Muertos! Día de Los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead, honors loved ones and pets who have passed away by paying respects and remembering them on November 1st and 2nd of each year. HLSA will have an ofrenda (altar) in the Student Lounge, where students can bring photos of their loved ones who have passed away to be placed on the ofrenda. If you only have a virtual photo and would like it placed on the Ofrenda, you can email it to Respinosa2@huskers.unl.edu by noon October 31st and we will get it printed for you.

As part of this event on Friday, November 1st, we will be having food and crafts in the Student Lounge.
