The Mel Shinn activities celebrate the memory of Mel Shinn, ‘66, who unexpectedly passed away in 1979. The Mel Shinn Picnic concludes the Mel Shinn activities, which consist of badminton, bocce ball, corn hole, a 5K run, student vs. faculty basketball game, and an upper-class vs. first-year volleyball game. This picnic also invites alumni back to the College to interact with students and mingle with faculty, staff, and administration
