Dr. Alison Head, UNL Library’s Visiting Scholar, will present an interactive case study of Project Information Literacy’s 2016 lifelong learning study, a two-year study funded by an Institute of Museum and Library Services National Leadership Grant. The session will focus on three areas UNL librarians said they wanted to discuss and learn:
(1) the nuts and bolts of proposal writing, how to get funded, and how to keep your program officer engaged, once you’re funded;
(2) research design and how to decide which methods to use, based on what they may tell you about your sample; and
(3) geographically dispersed research teams and how to facilitate successful collaboration and ongoing communication.
Sponsored by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Libraries.
