Marilynn Schnepf, Professor Emeritus, Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences will present “The Story of Chocolate.” She will discuss the history of chocolate, a food native to Central and South America, the potential health benefits of chocolate, and sensory attributes of chocolate. Joining her this year will be Rebecca Ankenbrand, founder of Sweet Minou Chocolates, a local Lincoln company, who will discuss how chocolate is processed from bean to bar.
