DH Afternoons is a forum dedicated to supporting and celebrating the digital humanities work of students, staff, and faculty on campus. Join us to learn about the exciting advancements the DH community is making here at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Jeannette Eileen Jones, Associate Professor of History and Ethnic Studies, presents: “To Enter Africa from America: The United States, Africa, and the New Imperialism, 1862-1919.” Next up, Dr. Michelle Tiedje, Project Manager, presents, “Genoa Indian School Digital Reconciliation Project.”

Each DH Afternoon consists of a 20-25 minute presentation from a student or Center for Digital Research in the Humanities (CDRH) staff member, followed by another 20-25 minute presentation by a CDRH faculty fellow or affiliate. There is time for group discussion following the talks.
