As university research has progressed, it has become evident that traditional practices and assumptions have had negative effects on social groups. Some of these effects include erasure, repressing stories and experiences, creating power dynamics between knower/known, amongst others. Reparative Research Practices (RRP) address and attempt to repair traditional practices. In this workshop we will define RRP, discuss how they affect your research, and what resources are available to you as a researcher.
