AI has been rapidly adopted in many higher education spaces, but there are significant ethical considerations that have yet to be fully addressed. As many instructors consider encouraging students to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence, we recommend thinking critically about how aspects like the potential bias of AI algorithms, copyright & idea ownership, and academic integrity may be impacted. In this discussion-based workshop, we will give you the opportunity to engage in dialogue with peers to help you better understand the connection between your values as an instructor and the AI policies you choose to implement.
