Hans Sturm and Tom Larson will present a set of historically overlooked gems from the jazz canon of the 1960s and 70s including works by Ornette Coleman, Charlie Haden, and Sam Rivers.

Double bassist Hans Sturm has performed as soloist, chamber, orchestral, jazz and improvisational musician throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Africa and the United States. He is associate professor of Double Bass and Jazz Studies as well as Area Head for Strings.
