The recital will feature two of the most well known trumpet duets of the Baroque Era. Dr. Darryl White will be joined by University of Central Missouri trumpet professor Dr. Alan Wenger. The two will perform Francesco Manfredini’s Concerto for 2 trumpets and ever popular, Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in C major. The two will be joined by Paul Soulek, professor of music at Concordia College.
Dr. Darryl White is associate professor of trumpet at the Glenn Korff School of Music. Paul Soulek serves as Cantor of St. John Lutheran Church and School as well as an adjunct professor of music at Concordia University, both in Seward, NE. Alan Wenger is professor of trumpet at the University of Central Missouri.
