Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters… the 2018 Opera Scenes program “Family Matters” explores family relationships in opera. From loss, to love, to frustration, to vengeance, there is some facet of the family that each audience member will recognize. Scenes include excerpts from Adamo’s Little Women, Mozart’s Idomeneo, Weber’s Der Freischütz, and Rossini’s Guillaume Tell.
