The purpose of these workshops is to engage College of Arts and Sciences instructors (faculty, graduate students, etc.) in hands-on course development centered around equity and inclusivity, leading to better student outcomes.
In “Active Learning Strategies,” participants try out a variety of active learning strategies and include discussion of considerations for equity and inclusion when implementing these strategies. Plan the implementation of a new active learning strategy for a course you are teaching this semester.
